Therapy of often of the heart rhythm disturbance at children [Article in Serbian]

Abstract

The purpose of this text is to focus on the most frequent heart rate disturbance in children and its therapy. For this reason, the emphasis has been placed on the surface electrocardiogram as the principal tool for diagnosis. Arrhythmias may result from disorders of impulse generation or disorders of impulse conduction or a combination. The most common mechanism for tachycardia is the phenomenon of reentry. The abnormalities of AV conduction may involve either the AV node or the proximal His-Purkinje system.
