Urinary tract infection in children [Article in Bosnian]

Abstract


Urinary tract infection is the common term for the heterogenous group of conditions in which there is growth of bacteria within the urinary tract. It is one of the most common bacterial infections in children. Significant bacteriuria is the most important diagnostic criterion for urinary infection. This article reviews the current concepts of urinary tract infection in children and points out some difficulties in its diagnostics and therapy modalities. A recommended imaging procedure algorithm for urinary tract infection is then given
